KH AESTHETICS NOTTINGHAM

KH Aesthetics Nottingham was founded by Katie Henson (aka Nurse Tink). Nurse Tink is an adult registered nurse, who started her career in nursing in 2014. She trained at the University of Nottingham and qualified with a 1st class Honours degree.

Nurse Tink has worked within a number of specialised areas, including the haematology stem cell transplant unit and cancer clinical trials. Here, she worked closely with a variety healthcare specialists, consultants and surgeons, treating patients with various types of cancer.

In 2018, Nurse Tink found another passion – a passion for tinkering faces, with safe practice being her main objective. She completed her Advanced Aesthetic Training to be able to perform highly skilled aesthetic treatments and still continues to attend regular training to ensure the most up to date evidence based practice, procedures and techniques are offered at her clinics. Her most popular treatments include;  anti-wrinkle injections, lip fillers and fat dissolving injections. She has also recently completed her non-medical prescribing qualification.

In 2020, KH Aesthetics (Nurse Tink’s private clinic) was awarded 2nd place for ‘Best Aesthetic Practitioner East Midlands’ by The British Aesthetic Awards. More recently, she has been selected as a finalist for ‘Lip Master of the Year 2022’ and Independent Practitioner of the Year 2022’ by the Midlands Aesthetic and Beauty Awards.

Nurse Tink believes that growing up in a world full of filters, fillers and social media, that it is paramount that aesthetic treatments are carried out by highly skilled, experienced aestheticians, like herself, using a holistic approach with safety remaining at the forefront of her clinical practice.
